Ducleaux Cellars is a boutique winery (a Washington Garagiste) making small-batch Washington wines from handpicked professionally managed vineyards with distinctive terroir. Our aim is to make outstanding artisan wines. We are an emerging family winery operated with an uncompromising view towards quality and value.
Haven't most great businesses started in a garage? We started there and have now outgrown the one bay garage winery. The space or location in which wine is nurtured really isn't important. Selection of great fruit from interesting and unique Washington State vineyards coupled with keeping true to the varietal and terroir is critical. We're not a Walla Walla or a Woodinville winery...we're a "Kent" winery..and we'll challenge them to a blind tasting any day.

Chris & Toby
Chris Dukelow is a start up junkie who thrives in early stage companies usually as the finance/operations guy. A CPA by training, he’s really a closet sales guy who loves to meet and interact with customers new and old.
Raised in Richland, WA he used to ride motorcycles in the desert in what is now the Red Mountain AVA. Returning to Eastern Washington often, visiting wineries and their winemakers, his passion for great Washington wines has grown over the years. In 2011, between jobs, Chris took several courses at UC Davis, read a number of books on winemaking, took a number of winemaking courses at Northwest Wine Academy and started making wine as a hobby with fruit from Rattlesnake Hills, Columbia Valley and Red Mountain. By 2013, the hobby was out of control and a commercial winery was founded in the garage.
